Joining an org you were invited to

Someone sends you a link. The page tells you whose door it is before you sign in to anything — that's on purpose.

  1. Open the link you were sent. It looks like /join/… and shows the org's name, badge and headcount.
  2. Sign in with Google. It's the only way in — there's no password to make or forget.
  3. If the link asks for your name, type it exactly as your org has it on the roster.

Two kinds of link

KindWhat happens when you use it
OpenYou're added as a new member. Nobody has to have listed you first.
ClaimYou're matched to a roster row an officer already created — you type your name, and it links your Google account to that existing record, history and all.

Didn't find it?

Search covers the full text of every article — if it isn't there, it probably isn't written yet, and that's worth telling us.
