If a member has ever been marked present or absent, deleting them fails with "Cannot remove a brother with attendance records." No amount of permission fixes it. The record they're attached to is what's blocking, and we haven't built the path that clears it safely yet.
What to do instead
- Someone graduated or went inactive: mark them exempt for the term. They come out of every mandatory event's roll and stop dragging the chapter's numbers, and their history stays readable. See excuses and exemptions.
- Someone was added twice: the duplicate with no attendance will delete normally.
- Someone wants their data gone: that's a rights request, not a roster edit. Write to us and we'll handle it properly.
