Fundraisers

A fundraiser here is three numbers: supplies, what came in, and what you made. That's deliberately all.

Who can
Everyone sees them. Planning and counting up need Fundraisers.
1List your supplies
Flour & sugar … $18
Butter … $14
Boxes … $11
Supplies … $43
2Count what came in$180

One total, once the sale's over.

3See what you made$137

Came in, minus supplies.

FIGThe Fundraisers page's own three-step example.
  1. 1Plan it — a name, a date, and optionally a time, a place and a goal. Name it “bake sale”, “car wash”, “raffle” or similar and it suggests a shopping list. Then list the supplies and what each cost.
  2. 2Count up after the day: one total for what came in.
  3. 3Made = came in − supplies.

It shows on the Timeline as Fundraising, and the sidebar nudges you when one is ready to count up.

It never touches the Treasury

Nothing here posts to the books. When the money's deposited, record it as an income transaction if you want it in your balance.
